About our Counselors
Marriage & Family Center in Fort Myers, FL is staffed by Maribeth Lichty; an extremely qualified and experienced counseling professional.
I am Maribeth Lichty, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Addictions Professional with over 25 years of postgraduate clinical experience. I am the owner of Marriage & Family Center. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and my master's degree in social work from The Ohio State University. I have lived in Fort Myers for the past 20 years. I specialize in helping people who are struggling with depression, bi-polar disorder, anxiety, marital or other relationship concerns, addictions, and recovery from traumatic experiences, either in childhood or adulthood. The skills that I teach my patients are many of the same ones I have used in my personal life to create a fulfilling experience in my life that includes meaningful work, a happy marriage, a joyous spirit, and a whole lot of fun!
